Tyler Blevins aka Ninja is a very popular twitch streamer and influencer. He career saw a huge blast with Fortnite. Now, he is going to host his own Fortnite tournament, ‘Ninja Battles’.
About Ninja Battles
Firstly, it is starting on May 28th, 2020 at 12 p.m. PT. It is an invitational event which means that it is not open to the public. This tournament is going to happen for one month ending on July 2nd, 2020.
Also, there will be six events in Ninja Battle and the prize pool of each event is going to be $80,000.
It is great to see that the Pro players are doing this event on their own. It is not Epic Games who are doing it, it is Ninja. Even Benjyfishy is hosting his own Fortnite tournament. This shows how valuable and vast this community is. It also shows an insight for the future of Fortnite. If you ask me, this game is not going down anytime soon.
Also, with these tournaments, Fortnite will have a future in the Pro Leagues. I think Ninja Battles will have a lot of viewers. A good number of these viewers will be gamers who don’t play Fortnite. However, it could make them either go back to it or start playing it. That’s how they will be influenced and that is a very good thing.
The two players who have been confirmed are Kyle Giersdorf aka Bugha and Nicholas Amyoony aka Nick Eh 30. They are two of the best Fortnite players out there. Besides them, there will be over 60 players in the event. These are also very popular people.
You can watch the livestream of Ninja Battle on Ninja’s own Mixer channel at 12 p.m. ET.
